1. Overview

BusinessEnglishAI wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

All payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

2. Pro Subscription — $12/month

First payment

If you subscribe to BusinessEnglishAI Pro for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription payment.

Renewal payments

Refunds are not available for renewal payments after the 7-day first-payment window. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Pausing your subscription

If you need a break, we recommend pausing rather than cancelling. You can pause for up to one calendar month from your account settings. Your subscription resumes automatically.

💡 Tip: Pausing is better than cancelling if you plan to return — it keeps your progress, unlock history, and favourites intact.

3. Single Roleplay Purchase — $3

Single roleplay purchases unlock a specific roleplay permanently and grant 3 bonus unlocks. Because access is granted immediately upon payment, these purchases are non-refundable.

Exception: if you were charged twice for the same roleplay due to a technical error, contact us and we will issue a full refund for the duplicate charge.

4. Add-on Minute Packs — $4 (60 minutes)

Add-on minute packs are non-refundable once purchased. Unused minutes carry forward each month and do not expire while your account remains active.

5. Technical Issues and Exceptions

We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis where a technical issue on our side prevented you from accessing the service. This includes:

  • Platform outages lasting more than 24 hours during your paid period.
  • Duplicate charges caused by a payment processing error.
  • Access to paid features not functioning as described at time of purchase.

To request a refund under this exception, contact us within 14 days of the issue at support@businessenglishai.com with a description of the issue and your account email.

6. Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have statutory rights including a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services, unless you have already begun using the service.

By starting a roleplay session, you acknowledge that you have begun using the digital service and the right of withdrawal may no longer apply.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@businessenglishai.com with the subject line: Refund Request.
  2. Include your account email address and the date of the charge.
  3. Briefly describe the reason for your request.

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
